Mandatory verification of pressure gauges

  1. There are 3 categories and 10 types of pressure gauges used for safety protection that require mandatory verification, with a verification cycle of at least once every six months.
  2. Pressure gauges not subject to mandatory verification also need regular verification, and the verification cycle shall be determined by the enterprise itself.
  3. Whether the pressure gauge used for simple pressure vessels requires mandatory verification depends on the commissioning date of the simple pressure vessel.
  4. The verification of pressure gauges used for fixed pressure vessels, industrial pipelines and boilers shall comply with the regulations of the national metrological department.
  5. Pressure gauges used in chemical enterprises are divided into three levels: A, B and C, with different verification cycles. Among them, the pressure gauges for monitoring do not require periodic verification.
  6. If safety supervision law enforcement officers find the problem of "pressure gauges not being verified regularly", they can transfer it to the quality supervision department or require the enterprise to order rectification within a time limit, and the safety supervision department shall not impose administrative penalties.
